Welcome Cumberland County Women to the September Edition of the magazine!
Pets of Summer
We love our pets! Here is a sampling of pet photos displaying summer attitudes. Maybe that is why we love them so much. They not only give us unconditional love, but in their own way remind us to enjoy life.

Georgie "Everybody in the pool!"

Bella "All clear, let's go!"

Mercury "What will happen if I pull on this?"

Lydda "You want me to do what?"

From the Editors Desk
Maybe it is the long cold winter or the too hot to go outside early spring and summer that keeps me dreading the fast approaching fall. When everyone is thinking about returning to school, bright colored leaves, and big orange pumpkins, I find myself wanting to hang on a little longer to the extra daylight, sunshine, and summer activities.
In this spirit, this month’s issue is a combination of a fall preview and summertime joys. For instance we have both a crock-pot sauce perfect for the upcoming months and a delicious summer salad to use the last of the greens from the garden. In addition, Brian Goode shares his recipe for Crème Brule.
This month we add a new section” Technically Speaking” and welcome our first writers Beth Boston and Kelly Hunsberger from the Cyber Spot in Vineland. As an introductory article, they give some personal background and highlight some ideas for coming articles.
In Arts and Entertainment Lolae Joline Lambert shares her “Affairs of the Heart”. Also in this section you will find a very brief article taken from a book by Alice Duer Miller written 1915, and a word puzzle to stimulate your brain cells. Please let us know on the fan page if you succeed.
Speaking of the fan page we have some news. The Dream Foundation will be having a Lasagna Dinner on September 19, 2010…noon to 5 pm at The Forun Consalo Dining Hall at St. Augustine Prep. It is eat in or take out, $10.00 per person and $5.00 children (under ten). Please support the Magazine’s charity.
The Women of Cumberland County fan page has been running a fan page challenge and has decided to continue until September 15, and will present the check to the Foundation at the dinner. For every new fan $1.00 is donated to the charity. So, please invite your friends to become fans of the magazine. You will be helping the women in your area and a good cause at the same time. It will cost you nothing but a little time to invite your friends.
As usual Motorcycle Mama has a great article in Sports and Recreation and Lisa Bonanno writes about September’s Roads.
Health and Wellness writers include an Audiologist, Yoga Instructor, Nutritionist, and a Priest.
In Travel you will find tips on medical advice while on the road.
Check out the Marketplace. We have added two new businesses and will be adding more in a few days. Check back often and support local business.
The winner of the lunch for two at The Sweet Life Bakery is Dorothy Cyriacks. Please contact the editor at twoccnj@yahoo.com to make arrangements to receive your prize. Our new sweepstakes will be announced in the magazine and on the fan page in a few days.
One small piece of business… as I cannot fully load the magazine until the First of the month, the actual publishing date is being moved beginning with October’s Issue to the third of the month.
Have a great September and remember we are more than just a magazine!
